Description

We will deploy 3 component nodal sensors and BB seismic stations across the Andes in two locations to image the lithosphere and asthenosphere to study the variations in the mountain building process along strike in the Andes. We will deploy a mixed mode of 3C nodes with 2-3 km spacing interspersed with BB stations every 25-30 km embedded in a sparse grid of BB stations.
