FDSN Network Information

FDSN code TM Network name Thai Seismic Monitoring Network (TM)
Start year 2008 Operated by
End year 2021 Deployment region
Description

Thai Seismic Monitoring Network measures and determine various parameters of earthquakes that occur in Thailand and nearby which began development and installation the seismic station since 2008 to the present, especially in 2018, TMD have installed 25 borehole station at a depth of 30 meters. Which comprises a total of 71 broadband and short period seismic stations consisting of 26 borehole stations and 45 surface stations which is usually for borehole seismometers that uncontrollable the orientation of horizontal component during installation. The surface seismometer stations also need to correct accurate orientation.
