Description

Network to monitor local seismicity federal states of Saxony and Saxony-
Anhalt, Germany; densest part of network covers Vogtland region near Czech border, wellknown for its swarm earthquakes; further stations monitor northern extension of Vogtland's epicentral region up to Leipzig; Sampling rate 100 Hz, Sensors mostly Lennartz Le3D-5s, few broadband sensors (STS-2, Guralp 30 s, Guralp 60 s); strong cooperation with neighbouring Thüringer Seismisches Netz TH is done by "Seismologie-Verbund Mitteldeutschland".
