FDSN code 9L (2022-2023) Network name Mud volcanoes in SW Taiwan (activeSW)
Start year 2022 Operated by
End year 2023 Deployment region -
Description

Short-term instrumentation of mud volcanoes in SW Taiwan with 2 seismic stations (Taurus digitizers and Lennartz 5s 3C sensors), a tilter and a camera.
The goal is do detect, locate and characterize degassing events and search for correlation between degassing activity at nearby volcanoes and with tectonic deformation on a nearby fault.
