Description

These data correspond to a temporary seismo-acoustic network deployed around Popocatépetl volcano, México, from August 2021 to May 2022. The network consist of five Trillium 120-PA 120-s broadband seismometers, three Chaparral M64-UHP infrasound sensors (0.03 – 200 Hz flat response, 2,000
Pa full-range scale) and two Hyperion IFS-3111 high broadband infrasound sensors (0.01 – 100 Hz flat response, 1,000 Pa full-range scale). A collocated pair of seismometer – infrasound sensors were deployed at five sites covering a range from 4 – 25 km from the vent. The data loggers for the seismic sensors are the Nanometrics Taurus digitizer, and for the infrasound sensors the DiGOS DATA-CUBE. Logistical challenges at some sites led to discontinuous recordings in both seismic and infrasound data. Please refer to Mendo-Pérez et al. (2024) for further information, and as a citation when using this data.
