| Description |
The Eastern Goldfields (EGF) Seismic Line is a temporary deployment of 25 broadband seismometers across the southern Yilgarn Craton in Western Australia. The array operated between 2018 and 2020, forming a ~250 km east–west profile extending from 120.23°E to 122.23°E with station spacing of roughly 10–15 km. All stations recorded continuous 3‑component broadband (120s) data at 100 Hz, providing high‑quality observations suitable for receiver‑function analysis, surface‑wave dispersion, ambient noise studies, and shear‑wave splitting. The profile crosses major granite–greenstone terranes of the Eastern Goldfields Province, offering a valuable dataset for imaging crustal thickness, Moho structure, and lithospheric anisotropy beneath the southern Yilgarn Craton. These data support ongoing efforts to refine models of Archean crustal evolution and lithospheric architecture in Western Australia. |
