Description

Small aperture network located in the volcanic island of São Jorge, in the portuguese archipelago of the Azores, Central Atlantic, to monitor the seismic swarm triggered by a probable magmatic dyke intrusion. The network encompasses 19 short-period stations, 1 and 2 Hz.

Additional Notes During the restricted period 2022-2025 data will be stored at IDL server and distributed to partners of the Sao Jorge seismic monitoring: IPMA, CIVISA, ICT, UCL. Other interested users should contact the PI. In 2026 the data will be stored and freely accessible through ORFEUS web services.
