| Description | CASIE22-SENSOR (SEafloor Nodal Seismic array off ORegon) is a deployment of a dense 2-D array of short-period multicomponent ocean bottom nodes (OBNs) and airgun shooting along a profile offshore Oregon accomplished during R/V Marcus G. Langseth cruise MGL2201 in April 2022. The array consists of 107 short-period 4-channel OBNs (3-component geophone and a hydrophone) leased from Geospace Technologies®. The instruments were deployed at 500 m spacing in water depths ranging from ~200 m to ~3,000 m using a remotely operated vehicle (ROV). The OBNs recorded the signals from the R/V Langseth’s 6,600 in3 airgun array triggered every 75 m along a ~140-km-long profile. |
