Description

We are looking for the source of a narrow, intermittent 4.2 Hz ground disturbance which impacts the floor motion and seismic isolation systems in the observatory buildings at the Laser Interferometer Gravitational-wave Observatory (LIGO) detector in Livingston, Louisiana. The source is quite narrow, so we expect cultural noise, perhaps from a pumping station for the pipelines which cross the site.
