Option 1: Social Account
Use an existing account at another web site to sign in. This allows you to log into the FDSN.org site without a separate password.
- This is used only to verify your email address.
- FDSN.org does not see your password; it is sent directly to the external web site over a secure channel.
- FDSN.org cannot post or edit anything in your account; it is granted access only to read basic information like your name and email address.
