DATES OF OPERATION:  11 May 1978 to 15 Oct 1985. 

SEISMOMETER TYPE:
Teledyne-Geotech Model 36000 borehole seismometer.    

DIGITAL FORMAT:
16 bit gain-ranged data words for all components.  Range: +2,096,128 
to -2,097,152 counts.

EVENT DETECTOR ALGORITHM:
The Murdock event detector (Murdock, 1983) was installed on 03 May 1983.  Prior
to that time a detector developed by the Unitech Corp., Austin, Texas was used.
This detector was not documented.

COMMENTS:
A complete description of the SRO system can be found in Peterson et al. (1976).
There are frequent long gaps in the seismic data due to power problems caused by
severe thunderstorms.  Unfortunately most of the time the station was inoperative.
Short period horizontal components were added on 30 Mar 1985.
The six second notch filter was removed on 29 Feb 1984.
