DATES OF OPERATION:  	03 May 1994 to Present.

SEISMOMETER TYPE & ADC:
Geotech Model KS-36000-i borehole seismometer and Kinemetrics FBA-23 low-gain
accelerometer.  ADC is Quanterra Model Q-680.

DIGITAL FORMAT:
24 bit integer data words for all components.  Range: +8,388,607 to -8,388,608 counts.

EVENT DETECTOR ALGORITHM:  None.

The Noise Study was done using 1992 data, consequently, it is only an estimation for this generation of instrumentation. 
COMMENTS:
A detailed description of the IRIS-2 system can be found in Peterson et al. 
(1989).  The FBA-23 is at an elevation of 90 meters.
