SEISMOMETER TYPE
Teledyne-Geotech Model 36000 borehole seismometer.

DIGITAL FORMAT:
16 bit gain-ranged data words for all components.  Range: +2,096,1128 to 
-2,097,152 counts.

EVENT DETECTOR ALGORITHIM:  
The Murdock event detector (Murdock 1983) was installed at all SRO and ASRO
stations on 03 May 1983. Prior to 1983 an event detector developed by the 
Unitech Corp., Austin, Texas was used.  This detector was not documented.
