15. TERRAscope Seismograph Network -TS 

DATES OF OPERATION:     01 Nov 1990 to Present 

SEISMOMETER TYPE AND ADC:
Streckeisen Model STS-1/VBB 3 component system.  Kinemetrics Model FBA-23 for
very short period channels.  ADC is Quanterra Model Q-52K.

DIGITAL FORMAT:
24 bit integer data words for all broadband (20 sps), long period (1 sps), very
long period (0.1 sps) and ultra long period channels.  Range: +8.388,607 to
-8, 388,608.  16 bit integer data words for very short period (100 sps), mass
position channels, and all environmental channels.  Range: +32767 to -32768.  

EVENT DETECTOR ALGOITHIM:
The Murdock event detector (Murdock 1991) is used for the EL_ components and
for the EDO channel.

Comments:
EDO and LDO are given in dynamic pressure.  Static pressure can be obtained from
P=(count-5.24)/15.83mbar.

There are two seismograph recording systems connected to the same Streckeisen 
seismometers at PFO, one TERRAscope station managed by CALTECH, and one IRIS/IDA
station managed by UCSD.  Both stations use the same code PFO.
