DATES OF OPERATION:     18 Oct 1986 to Present.

SEISMOMETER TYPE:
Geotech Model KS-36000 borehole seismometer fro all short period and long period
data.  Streckeisen Model STS-1 three component system for all broadband and very
long period data.

DIGITAL FORMAT:
16 bit gain-ranged data words for all components.  
Range: +1,048,576 to -1,048,448 counts.

EVENT DETECTOR ALGORITHM:
The Murdock event detector (Murdock, 1983) is used at for both the short period
and mid period data.
