DATES OF OPERATION:     25 May 1994 to Present.

SEISMOMETER TYPE:
Streckeisen Model STS-1 very broadband seismometer and a Geotech GS-13 
seismometer.  Kinemetrics FBA-23 low-gain accelerometer.  ADC is Quanterra
Model QX80. 

DIGITAL FORMAT:  Check with Tim
16 bit gain-ranged data words for all components.  
Range: +1,048,576 to -1,048,448 counts.

EVENT DETECTOR ALGORITHM:
The Murdock event detector (Murdock, 1983) is used for all short period and 
broadband data.
