| Description |
As part of the Cavola 2004 experiment, a micro seismic network was installed to improve earthquake localization in the area where the 2D seismic array with the YB_2004 network was installed (doi: https://doi.org/10.7914/SN/YB_2004). Thanks to the installation of five stand-alone seismic velocimetry stations to complement the Permanent Seismic Network managed by the Istituto Nazionale di Geofisica e Vulcanologia (net code: IV, doi: https://doi.org/10.13127/sd/x0fxnh7qfy), the initial earthquake detection threshold of M=2.0 in the area was lowered. The distance between the temporary network stations and the IV network was reduced to 10 km. |
