FDSN Network Information

FDSN code YS (2022-2022) Network name High-resolution imaging of the crustal-scale structure of the Central Pyrenees and role of Variscan inheritance on its geodynamic evolution (IMAGYN)
Start year 2022 Operated by
End year 2022 Deployment region -
Description

Characterization of the upper crustal structure of the Central Pyrenees by means of integration of of data coming from the previous project GeoPiri3D and new acquired gravimetric, petrophysical, structural, magnetotelluric and passive seismic data in both new and key areas where due to low density constrast between units the acquisition and interpretation of new geophysical data are required to constrain the proposed models.

The deployed sensor will include:
- 22 Trillium Compact + Nanometrics Taurus
- 31 Geospace 3C 2Hz + SpiderNano

The data will be collected in continuous 24h continuous recordings.
