FDSN Network Information

FDSN code YE (2008-2009) Operated by UC Santa Barbara
Network name Title: NEESR-SG: High Fidelity site characterization by experimentation, field observation, and inversion-based modeling (Garner Valley) Deployment region United States
Start date Jan. 1, 2008 End date Dec. 31, 2009
Short description

A mostly active source experiment combining high density seismometer array, very low and mid frequency mobile source vibrosies and improved mathematical models for high fidelity site characterization. Surface seismometers will be collecting passive source data continually for the duraation - about two years.
