FDSN Network Information

FDSN code XH (2012-2013) Operated by University of Wisconsin, Madison
Network name Small aperture array for observing a slow slip event on Kilauea volcano. (Kilauea Array) Deployment region United States
Start date Jan. 1, 2012 End date Dec. 31, 2013
Short description

This array will be used to investigate whether tectonic tremor accompanies slow slip events on Kilauea volcano, HI. The small aperture array will allow us to observe coherent waveforms across the array and form beams to locate the source of the energy.
