As of spring 2018, the network consists of three broadband seismic stations deployed in western Montana. By the end of summer 2018, we plan to have ten broadband seismic stations deployed in western Montana. Each station consists of a Metrozet MBB-2 broadband seismic sensor along with a Kinemetrics Obsidian4X datalogger. The sensors are designed for direct-bury, and we plan to change the network configuration from time to time (perhaps every 2-3 years), but plan to keep the stations within western Montana. The sensors are recording data in miniSEED format. The data are not telemetered; for now, we are collecting the data manually from the field every 3-6 months.
