Description |
The Czech Microbarograph Network (CMN) is a permanent network operated by the Institute of Atmospheric Physics, Czech Academy of Sciences. The main purpose of the network is the continuous monitoring of infrasound events in Czechia and collection of data for the scientific research. After the testing period, the first infrasound array of the CMN started its operation in 2014. It is a small aperture array of three differential microbarographs. The second array was deployed at the end of 2016. It is a large aperture array of four absolute microbarographs. The continuous records of pressure fluctuations from both arrays are acquired in near real time and are stored in the data centre of the Institute of Atmospheric Physics, CAS. |
