| Description |
Hicks Dome, IL is located within the IL-KY Fluorospar District and used to produce 90% of the United State's fluorspar. Recent studies have also identified breccia layers enriched in REE's within Hicks Dome. To better understand the subsurface structure of this complex, critical mineral bearing geologic feature, 41 Smart Solo, 3-channel, 5Hz nodal sensors were installed across Hicks Dome, IL with nominal station spacing of 2 km for ~6 months. |
